Dai Lai Star Golf Country Club is 40 km from the center of Hanoi (50 minute from the Centre of Hanoi). Covering an area of 300 hectares on a valley at the foot of Ngoc Thanh Mountain, entwined around the beautiful Dai Lai Lake, Dai Lai Star Golf Club is a golfers’ paradise with 18 hole.

With great upkeep, a really strong design and a most pleasing lake environment, Dai Lai Star Golf Club is an excellent test of golfing skills. Water comes into play on most of the back nice but still is not a major issue. However, negotiating the significant fairway and green-side bunkering and the large slick greens are more of a challenge.

Dai Lai Star Golf is an amazing design near the mountains, much water in play, difficult but always amusing. Especially the par 3 holes: the distances to carry are between 140 and 160 yards. All the holes are very different, never boring. The greens were in best conditions. I count this course the best in northern Vietnam.

Merely the journey from Hanoi to Dai Lai Star Golf Course is a little bit complicated, sometimes more signs would be wonderful. Everybody who plans to play golf around Hanoi should have Dai Lai Golf on his/her agenda.

The staff of Dai Lai Star Golf Course is extremely helpful and kindly. The clubhouse is elegant, the offer of food and drinks is more than enough. The modern clubhouse gives visitors to Dai Lai Star Golf the feeling of being in nature, while still not far from Hanoi.
